SOS
I'M STRUGGLING...
The urge hits. One tap.
We only need to get through the next 3 minutes.
Name what's actually happening.
Name the feeling under the urge.
Someone talks you through it.
You stayed with the moment and chose control. That counts.
+50 EXPThree minutes later, it's yours to keep.
WHY IT EXISTS
I built SOS Coach because I know what it feels like to have a brain that chases stimulation fast.
With ADHD and a high appetite for risk, I spent years blaming myself for impulses around food, games, gambling, short videos, and anything that gave a quick hit.
I tried discipline content, habit trackers, psychology books, and every version of “just be more consistent.” But the real battle was not the daily log.
It was the few minutes when the urge arrived.
That was the moment I needed help: not shame, not another lecture, but a calm pause before acting.
HOW IT WORKS
The rescue round handles the loudest minutes. Around it, SOS Coach uses simple recovery principles: name the feeling, ride the wave, act small, and come back without shame.
Putting a feeling into words can make the moment easier to hold.
Affect labelingUrges rise, peak, and fall. SOS Coach is built for the peak.
Urge surfingThe coach asks instead of commands, so you can choose what helps next.
Agency supportDaily Focus, EXP, and achievements turn small returns into visible progress.
Behavior designAFTER A SLIP
The app does not turn one hard moment into a moral verdict. It helps you name what happened, protect the best streak you already built, and make the next attempt easier.
THE INTENTION
I built SOS Coach because I wanted people to have somewhere to go in the few minutes when they are most likely to act against themselves. A place to pause, speak honestly, understand the urge, and remember who they are trying to become.
If it helps someone stop once, think once, refuse one impulse, or return with less shame after a hard moment, it has already done the thing I built it for.
